Family History
Enthusiastic genealogists often rummage in archives for years, but quail when - at last - they confront file after file of records and notes and old photographs and can't even begin to turn them into a coherent story.
As an outsider, I can judge whether I could make all the documents and incidents into an interesting book, and suggest ways of working together. Your researches may have led to a genealogical mystery in the 1930s, or you may have uncovered a trail winding back a thousand years; or there may be one important individual around whom a whole book can be built.
If you are the researcher, you can probably explain the records as no-one else could. I could interview you over several weeks just as I would any other subject, but alternatively, I may need to work with you occasionally over a longer period and carry out further research on your behalf.
Please get in touch with me to discuss it.
